Annotation. Potatoes are one of the most important agricultural crops in Russia and in the Sverdlovsk region as well, occupying vast areas of agricultural land. The most important factors in potato production in the Urals are the availability of moisture for the crop and climatic conditions. In potatoes, there are seven main reproductions, such as in vitro culture, mini-tubers, first field reproduction, 64 super-super elite, super elite, elite, 1 reproduction. Further production of potatoes is impractical, since this crop has the ability to accumulate viral diseases. This article will discuss the technology of potato production, starting from in vitro culture and ending with the delivery of potatoes to consumers, going through all the stages of modern growing methods.
