Summary This article presents the results of an electrocardiographic study of horses of the English racing Thoroughbred with cardiac pathologies. Diagnosis was carried out on horses of 4-, 5-, 6-year-old age before and after physical activity. It was noted that many animals had tachycardia and various cardiac disorders. Currently, there is an increase in pathologies associated with cardiovascular activities diagnosed in sports horses, which can lead to early culling of the animal and a decrease in the cost-effectiveness of their content.
