Summary The article presents the results of research on the optimization of soil cultivation systems to increase the yield of sugar beet of the domestic variety "Azimut" in the conditions of the Krasnodar Territory. A comparative assessment of the effect of moldboard, non-moldboard and surface cultivation on the agrophysical properties of Kuban chernozems and crop productivity was carried out.
