Summary: Modern problems in cynology and the successful solution of the problems of neonatal pathology remain the main problems of practical veterinary medicine. The analysis of the development of neonatal pathology in accordance with their existing classifications, taking into account breeding work in the golden retriever nursery, allowed us to identify the main problems in this nursery. Long-term observation made it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of veterinary measures in detecting congenital pathology and timely taking measures to prevent these pathologies in further breeding work.
