Summary The article presents an analysis of the influence of reproductive qualities of cows on their milk productivity. The study was conducted at the National Enterprise Iskra LLC. In the group of cows with an intercalving period of 361-390 days and 421-450 days, the highest milk yields were obtained, amounting to 11250.44 kg and 11981.25 kg, respectively. In the group where the intercalving period was within 451 days or more, the milk yield was 10993.7 kg. The maximum indicators for the mass fraction of protein and fat were set in the second, fourth and sixth groups and amounted to 3.08% and 3.86%, respectively. The optimal duration of the intercalving period is considered to be up to 12 months, that is, within 365 days. But according to our data, the highest milk yield was obtained from cows with an extended intercalving period.
