Summary Lighting in poultry houses plays a key role in providing optimal conditions for growing poultry, affecting productivity, health and economic efficiency. The article discusses modern approaches to lighting, including the choice of light sources, spectral composition, duration and intensity of daylight, as well as automated control systems. Particular attention is paid to the introduction of LED technologies and programmable relays, which reduce energy costs and improve living conditions. The article presents research data confirming the effect of lighting on growth, egg production and survivability of poultry.
